How to Use the Java NavBar

To open pages:

1. Hover over a bar, and the color will change to confirm your position.
2. Click a bar with the topic you want.
3. If there is a triangle on the bar, more choices will appear.

We have 4 levels of choices to compact the space taken up by the NavBar.

To close the current drop-down menus:

• Click the next darker colored bar with a triangle on it above your position. You may find that you'll click the bar once to select it, and a second time to activate the closure.

We recommend closing the drop-down menu before continuing onto another darker-colored bar. This is because as the new set opens, the previously-opened set closes. This causes a confusing jumping effect and the new selection is above your pointer.
