The Argument
Overview
There are several factions each with their own leadership. Cells and leaders are from
Baghdad, Afghanistan, several European locations and other places. The common ground is
that California will be the next target.
Nuke or Chemical?
There appears to be a suitcase-nuke-like weapon available to them. If there is more
than one, the number is very limited. They do not have enough knowledge to be sure how to
best use their limited munitions. They are considering:
- Go for a crowded target
- Try to set off a shift in the fault line
- Kidnap someone who has the knowledge to better use the weapon
- Wait and learn more themselves.
There is a great struggle over whether to use chemical weapons or the nuke in the next
strike.
- Part of the leadership is adamantly against the use of the nuclear device because they
feel that it would be used in Afghanistan.
- Other leaders don't care what happens to Afghanistan because they are just using the
Taliban (make no mistake, the Taliban is just using people, too) and have interests
elsewhere.
- Some factions want to use gas in an nuclear power plant.
- The leader of one faction is so angry and wants to use the nuclear device so badly, that
s/he is willing to kill some of the other factions to use it.
There seems to be a strong, female leader.
