Detoxification and Cleansing - Elimination

Detox

Anabolic and catabolic processes are going on continuously in our bodies, i.e. we build and burn. This creates a constant stream of toxins and residues even when you are eating right and living in a healthy environment. All systems can become toxic. Lots of people find that water is the best cure - it does not harm and may do much good in that it flushes every system in the body. Other people find that exercise is the way to go because it massages the organs, tones the muscles, creates chemical  and touches everything in the body, but it also produces toxins faster. If you're going to detox, then be prepared to be sick. Some things make you feel really bad before you start feeling well and then better. Know how much stress and how much "not feeling well" you can take when considering a detox.

Cleansing

The colon and Liver are considered by some as usually quite dirty. Many cleansing approaches target these organs. For men, cleansing regimes may include the urinary system and the prostate. For women, the reproductive system needs to be able to cleans. This is why women should consider Hormones replacements that allow rhythms.

If you create an imbalance your electrolyte or sugar system with a cleans, you will be creating problems for yourself. Go easy when you fast.
