Healings are offered as part of the fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy, "These things and greater you shall also do." and "If you ask these things in my name, they shall be done by the Father." and "Where two or three are gathered together, I will be in the midst of them." as part of the beliefs of the Church of the Radiant Lights.
Note just because these sayings are from the new testament Bible, you don't have to be a Christian or believe in the Christ Jesus for them to work. Just as the 18 original songs of the younger futhark don't say, "You must believe in Odin to receive help." The Golden Path is there for all, and all the god/desses rejoice when we walk it. For if your god looks like a man or a woman, do you really believe that in all the spinning cosmos that these is nothing higher to look like?
