Another Riddle
"The key to life and death is everywhere to be found, but if you do not find it in
your own house, you will find it nowhere. Yet it is before everyone's eyes; no one can
live without it; everybody uses it. The poor usually possess more of it than the rich;
children play with it in the streets. The uneducated esteem it highly, but the learned
often throw it away. It is a living though invisible substance that is concentrated
in nature's cavities, sacred cups, and parts of the human body. It is the only thing from
which the Philosopher's Stone can be prepared, and without it, no noble metal can ever be
created."
- This riddle is talking about imagination, which is
also called the secret fire. Its opposite is fantasy. But the word imagination doesn't
cover the riddle's answer completely.
- Everything strives to achieve gnosis, this is what is
called intelligence when referring to the intelligence of a spirit or elemental. It is the
vital fluid, the essence. The connection. Remove the point of view and the will
will surge within you, finally uniting soul, body and spirit...no resistance is possible.
- It is the part of us, and the part of everything else, that learns(extracts the essence)
what is and what can be from experience and reflection to create new synthesis.Plato's
cave. Seeing through the dim glass, ego finally sees beyond self to ONE. i.e. the chick in
the egg that is always open on one side (in higher geometries) was hatched into slavery
thought it needed to break the barriers to get OUT...even though the door was already
open. Hint: when does a door function as two doors?
- The mirror - self reflection and the borderland (ring pass-not) between Hadit and Nuit.
- Crystal ball - in China it was considered the representative of Aether.
- In Germany - the essence was called Wesson i.e the essential/basic.
- In Hebrew - it's called et...but is really more like the letter at the bottom of
"death/la morte"
- Robert Monroe used a puzzling term, Loosh (many consider it love?).
- Baseline - the border between one's self and the universe, which is true zero, which is
the final frontier. We are the outer fringes of the thoughts of God/dess and s/he wants to
be very sure s/he doesn't leave anything out.
- Because in his highest state, he is pure potential, beyond which there no description
- And she is pure receptivity.
- And 1+1=? HINT HINT: I won't give you the answer but it's initials are ZERO.
- Nous, in other words, all that the mind can be. "This body, Arjuna, is the field
(though Krishna and Arjuna are on the battlefield, he explains that the real field is
within)" Bagavad Gita (Song of God). And Deepak Chopra would add to these words,
"the field of all possibilities" i.e. pure potential i.e.all field/fields. In
Tantra, when pure potential touches pure receptivity (Earth) the Lord's Prayer is
answered, "As it is in the Heavens, so also upon the Earth." and everything is
fruitful... an ocean without waves.
- Emotions pre-date words. The mother was before the father. (Coni Ann Limpert inserted
this line without Harold as a Ed.note. Which is her prerogative even though it gives away
the riddle. [the big showoff. Harold]) Sophia is not here, but its all in
your point of view NOT our differences.
Clue: Yes, it is one thing.
No, it has no single answer. Yes, it must follow the pattern. Who says The One Thing is a
single word? Let's add a little mystery here, OK, the riddle of the Sphinx falls into the
same category as the Emerald Tablet. The answer to "What walks on 4 legs in the
morning, 2 legs at noon and 3 legs in the evening", is cut from the same emerald. The
answer only need follow the pattern: four, two and three. On The Tree (of Life) would
correspond to the lower four, the center two and upper three (not counting Earth). Of
course, if this should come back to Earth, it becomes a major power. Hint: If everyone
followed the upper three for their pattern, everyone would know to decide what you desire
(create), ask permission to do it (pray), and then stake one's life on following one's own
will (which is non-different than everything's will). Or one could say; soul and spirit
and body must follow the same pattern. Further hint: What does the word sphinx mean? What
is it derived from? What part or parts of the body are sphinxes (sphincters)? How does
this relate to "this mortal coil"?
