The "devil is in the details", however, God/dess sees/is in the middle, i.e. the zero point. Everything has a middle which is the "eye-light" symbolized by the "above" coming down and the "below" coming up making a space "the middle".
Much of magick and some philosophies (Taoism) knowingly or unknowingly try to connect with the middle which is known in divining as the gold column. In martial arts, the person who controls the center of gravity, or the "middle of the circle" always dominates his/her opponent. Taken a step further in Aikido, one's mantra is always "I am the middle". This is equivalent to the magickal equation in which the worker in setting up the watch towers (or pentacle) pronounces him/herself to be the middle of the universe.
When working with certain kinds of scalar devices, psionic devices and psychotronics devices, the center is not different from the circumference i.e. distance is a function of difference in density and meterial (Hadit/Nuit). Thus, the formula in magick: "Light in Extension" (LUX or LVX).
At any rate, one can use this concept to explain many things. The fire at the center of the pyramid, the middle column of the Tree of Life, the center axis of the Gaelic World Tree. A practical example of this is that every house and every room in the house, has an eye-light, i.e. a point of contact with God/dess.
