Dragon's Blood

Descriptions: Magickal, Botanical (see also: Root)

Magickal

It is believed to increases one's sexual attractiveness, ones martial abilities and repels all evil things.

The dried sap of the Madagascar dragon tree is used as a substitute for blood in rituals when mixed with cider. (Remember the magus NEVER uses anything but his OWN blood [this is one reason that Jesus was referred as a magus] or a blood substitute like dragon's blood and cider.)

Rumored to help the impotent when placed under the bed or carried in a bag. (Not to be used in place of medical treatment).

Botanical

Dragon's blood (resin) collected from stem incisions on the dracaena (dragon tree).

Beware: A red resin is collected from the surface of immature fruits of the jungle palm of Malaya and East Indies, genus Daemonorops, fam. Palmaceae, and sold as dragon's blood.
