Divination can be anything from skrying to asking the IChing questions, to using tarot cards, to using rods to using pendulums to using one's sixth sense. When I talk about divining in this case, I'm talking about using a device to interface between an operator and his environment.
What is shown by this interface, depends on what the operator picks. Almost everyone uses a willow stick to divine for water. The idea is that willows are attraced to water, they need a wet place to grow and that something inherent with the tree itself interacting with the operator allows the operator to find underground streams or hidden water.
This can be taken farther. Practically as far as anyone would like to take it by divining by colors that are etheric (or astral) to divining by structures that are not discernable to the five senses. New Age divination or spiritual divination has become the main aid to gnosis beyond one's five senses. Pendulums, "L" rods, etc. being used to find almost any quality of energy, pattern, or object hidden or overt (i.e. disease in the body, gold in the ground, and even structures in our environment mysteriously placed for strange purposes in ancient or even modern times, not immediately obvious to the casual observer).
A legend in his own time, Cliff Stumbaugh, developed the Jacob's Ladder method of divining also called "The Language of Light". This Language of Light is even more the linga franca of the universe than the Enochian language of the angels. Take Harold's word for it: being a true psychic is a royal pain. The Language of Light is much more dependable and almost as amazing in its revelations.
Any enterprising psychic looking for revelation can hardly do better than starting with this training. Consider acupuncture, for example, with training in The Language of Light method it's not necessary to memorize meridians or points. One merely needs to scan the body using this divining method for the points that need to be stimulated. As you can see, learning the Language of Light can bypass a lot of tedious training, as well as protect one from the dangers of being an open psychic at all times.
Harold is pleased to have been a student of Mr. Stumbaugh and considers him one of his mentors. Cliff is available for seminars and training in this very important tool for personal gnosis if his transportation is paid and a fee per student is agreed upon. Another master of the Language of Light, Roger Kemp, has also helped train Harold. Roger may also be available at times for seminars.
